The history of Helveco watches
Sir Arthur Imhof founded Helveco in 1939. In the 1940s he invented ‘La Chalet Swiss’. A decade later he created the Musical Alarm Clock, the Brass Mantle Clock and the 8 day/7 Jewels clock. The first Helveco wristwatch was produced in the 1990s. In 1998 the brand was purchased by a Swiss watch trading company, and under the leadership of the CEO, Helveco recreated the wheel crown design. The 75 Years Collection watches have a two-level dial in silver or rose gold. The Pilatus collection has a two-level metal silver, blue or grey dial with luminous hands. The Davos collection comes in silver, red or black. There is also the Morel collection, the wheel crown collection and the Constance Chronograph. The brand has extended its range to include pens and leather goods.
