The history of Versus Versace watches
Versace was a fashion house that produces watches, clothes and jewellery which started in 1978 by Gianni Versace. The designer, Reggio di Calabria, was born in Italy on 2nd December 1946. He was exposed to the world of fashion from a young age because of her mother being a dressmaker. Once Gianni Vercase finished high school he went to start working for her which is where he gained the experience that would get him set up for his later career.
When Gianni was 26, he got involved in the fashion industry, and he began to start working for names such as Genny Callaghan. In 1978 a few years later he launched his first ready-to-wear collection for the women in the Italian city. This had marked the first of many collections that he would unveil.
Versus Versace is an offshoot of the Versace brand.
